Custom reasons are sorted in the user interface by major reason number, then by minor reason number. No two custom reasons can use the same major and minor reasons, unless one is planned and the other is unplanned. Otherwise, the system will use the first instance and ignore the others.

Incorrect projection settings are another possible reason for black screen issues. If the black screen doesn't prevent the PC from displaying the projection settings, you can access them with the command Win + P (Figure 7). Correcting any misconfigured settings might fix the black screen problem.


Computers sometimes experience black screen issues because of a malware infection. For this reason, you should scan the system to ensure that there are no signs of infection. Malware can cause far more damage than just black screens, so you must identify and deal with any possible malware infections as quickly as possible.


In some cases, the reason may be an invalid path. If you have entered a path incorrectly, the error message may appear. Check that the entered path is correct and does not contain superfluous characters like commas or dots.


If you try to save a file to a folder or directory that has been changed or deleted, you will also receive this Windows error message. Check if your default download folder has been changed or if the destination folder has been deleted. An incorrect drive or a removed storage medium could also be the reason.


The main reason for this is that mono can ahead-of-time compile its assemblies into ELF shared objects. These AOTs have to exist in the same directory as their DLL/EXE counterparts otherwise mono cannot use them. Even if we, as packagers, choose not to create the AOT files when we build the mono rpms, the system administrator can choose to create them after install. Since there's no way to place the mono assemblies into an arch independent directory and the AOTs into arch dependent directories, the whole thing has to go into an arch dependent tree.

If you don't have any output drivers listed there, or you don't see a driver that you suspect should be there (input or output), close RealBand and try deleting the files RealBand.INI and RB.CFG from the RealBand folder (usually C:\RealBand). This will restore many of the program's factory settings. You can save a backup of those files before deleting them, in case this doesn't solve the problem and you think you might want to restore your previous settings. When you next launch RealBand, the MIDI Driver Setup dialog should come up automatically. If there are still no drivers there, this means that for whatever reason, the driver isn't installed on your computer. On Windows 95/98/ME/NT/2000, go to Start Settings Control Panel Multimedia -or- Sounds and Multimedia MIDI. On Windows XP, go to Start Control Panel Sounds and Audio Devices Audio, and look under MIDI Playback).


If you reduce the 'Output Buffer Milliseconds' value, the response to mixer moves will be faster. The lower the setting, the quicker the program will respond when you change volume, pan, mute, or effects settings for an audio track. 1000 milliseconds (1 second) usually is good overall setting for fast enough response, while still leaving enough buffers to avoid audible dropouts or clicks. If you have a reasonably fast CPU (over 1 GHz), try a 'Track Buffer Size' setting of 8192 and an Output Buffer Milliseconds setting of 500. This will reduce the buffering delay substantially.


If you are trying to install a program that you downloaded, you might get this error if the download did not finish properly or the file is corrupt for some reason. Delete the file that you downloaded, restart the computer, and try downloading it again.


The plugin may be intended to be used with audio programs like RealBand, but there may be something wrong/corrupted with it. Or, for some reason it is compatible with some host the plugin writer tested with, but doesn't happen to be compatible with RealBand.


By default, only channel 10 is used as the drum channel, however with many synths you can use a SysEx message to assign more than one channel to drums. Two reasons you might want to do this are: (1) It allows you to use more than one drum kit simultaneously, and (2) it allows you to affect individual drum sounds with certain MIDI controllers (volume, pan, etc.) if you have split your drums to separate tracks.


Another reason you could get a syntax error is if any one patch list in your file exceeds the limit of about 2000 patches. You will get a syntax error referring to the first line that exceeds the maximum number of patches. In this case, you may need to omit some patches, or split your patch list into two or more patch lists to cover all of the patches available. Note that you can have multiple patch lists in a single patch map file.


Using a software synth (DXi or VSTi plugin) for the metronome is only supported when you are using ASIO drivers. To switch to ASIO drivers, go to Options Preferences Audio. If your computer doesn't have an ASIO driver installed, try the ASIO4ALL driver, which you can download from the internet. You will also need to set a reasonably low latency, such as 40ms or less. Then, go into Options Metronome and set the Port number between 17 and 32, depending on which DXi/VSTi soft synth you want to use. The default soft synth is port number 32.


Corrupted graphics drivers and system files are some of the main contributors that cause this issue. Run DISM and SFC Commands\r\nIf the issue is still there, try repairing Windows images by running DISM and SFC commands. These are the commands used to restore corrupted files such as DLL and system files. If you are able to open Task Manager, then run these commands in the terminal by following the below instructions.\r\n\r\n \tTo run repair commands, open Task Manager by pressing the Ctrl + Shift + Esc\r\n \tClick File > Run New Task\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n \tType cmd and check the option Create This Task With Administrator Privileges\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n \tA terminal will open, copy and paste the following command in the terminal and wait for the process to finish\r\nDISM \/Online \/Cleanup-Image \/RestoreHealth\r\nsfc \/scannow\r\n\r\n \tOnce done, restart your computer and see if it fixes the issue.\r\n\r\n9. Add a new user account\r\nAnother solution that can fix this issue is to add a new user account. Make sure to wait for a Windows logo screen when turning it off.\r\n \tOnce you access the safe mode, follow the below methods.\r\n\r\n14.1 Reinstall Graphics Driver\r\nCorrupted Graphics Driver can be the sole reason for this issue as it can prevent the Windows from loading. If your graphics driver is corrupted, either disable or reinstall the graphics driver.\r\n14.2 Uninstall Graphics Driver\r\nThere is an application called Display Driver Uninstaller, used to uninstall drivers entirely from the computer. Sometimes, the device manager does not remove the drivers entirely from the computer. Thus, some files leftover behind, which can cause serious problems like conflicts of a driver and BSOD errors.\r\n\r\n \tTo uninstall the driver, download Display Driver Uninstaller\r\n \tOnce you downloaded it, right-click on it and select Extract to DDU\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n \tOnce it's done, navigate to the folder and open Display Driver Uninstaller\r\n \tA shot Window will appear, click Extract\r\n\r\n\r\n \tGo to the extracted folder and finally launch Display Driver Uninstaller\r\n \tSelect your GPU vendor and device type from the top\r\n \tThen, click Clean And Restart\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n15.3 Install Graphics Driver\r\n\r\n \tTo install the latest driver, go to your graphics card's manufacturer's website\r\n \tNavigate to the Drivers & Support section\r\n \tChoose your Graphics card and click on Search\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n \tIf the website asks for the operating system, select your OS\r\n \tthen, download the latest driver\r\n \tOnce done, open the installer and follow the further instruction to install the driver\r\n \tAfter installing the driver, reboot your computer and see if the issue is fixed.\r\n\r\nIf neither of the solutions worked, then your Windows may be affected by malware or third-party programs.
